I have always been a writer at heart. Every time I moved away from it, I was always pulled back. As a child, I would read everything I could get my hands on. Everything. The library had to make special arrangements for me because I would often check out ten books at one time, when the limit was three. Once I was introduced to writing stories, I couldn’t put that down either. I even took the same Creative Writing course TWICE in high school!
I graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelor’s in English and concentration in Creative Writing in 2010. Since then, I have worked for various businesses to improve their website content, social media marketing, public relations, press releases, and more.
In my spare time, I run an Etsy store called “The Pineapple Catz” where I sell handmade animal figurines. It was on Etsy that I learned the basics of SEO that allowed me to write relevant website copy in my later jobs. In most recent years, I have assisted other sellers with their start-up, writing their tags, titles, and descriptions. I love animals, cats especially. I even almost majored in Biology. I’m also huge into family history, traveling, and Disney (who isn’t?!). I’m extremely interested in writing about travel, animals, and history but am open for anything as I love learning!
